<b> Basic Keyboard Commands There are a few basic keyboard commands you will need to begin with. To view the entire list of commands in your interactions box, press '?' (Shift + '/') <b> Verbal Commands Speaking out loud is the most common form of communication and can be seen as a word bubble above your character. It is visible to anyone within earshot (on-screen) and remains above your head for a few seconds. To speak out loud to those immediately around you press ' then what you wish to say, followed by Enter. An alternate way to speak is to select "Enter to Talk" on your Options tab and simply hit the Enter key followed by what you wish to say, and Enter key again to speak it aloud. Whispering is a more private form of communication that sends a message directly to one person that only they can see. To whisper to one person, use " (Shift + ') and then type the person's name and hit Enter to begin typing what you want to say to them. Press Enter once more to send the whisper off into the winds! Shouting is a longer-range form of communication that is similar to standard speech, but can be heard within approximately one additional screen's length of distance. That means, someone who is a little bit off-screen would be able to hear your shout, even if they could not see it. You are able to shout starting at level 6. To shout, press '!' followed by your message, and then Enter to send. Alternatively, one can shout by typing '/s' followed by their message, and then Enter. <b> Character Information Screens Your character's Status refers to their current equipment, spell effects, stats such as Vita/Mana or Might/Will/Grace, and Armor Class (AC), among other things. To view your Status press 's'. Your "Status Box" is the box right below the box that shows your Inventory, Status, character you've clicked on, or other information lists: To view your Inventory press 'i' To view your Spells press '+' To view another player, click/select them To view your current group, press 'f' To view your options tab, press F10. There will be more details on each of these screens in future posts on this board and other Tutor boards. <b> Other Common Commands / Help Swinging your weapon to attack is accomplished by pressing/holding the Space Bar. Spells on your spell list can be cast by binding them to your "Spell Macro" list via F11, or by typing 'Z' and the corresponding letter of the spell on your spell list. Many spells are targetable, and you can move the target box with either your arrow keys or left-clicking with the mouse and casting by hitting the Enter key. Also, much information is provided on the F1 and Shift+F1 command keys. F1 and Shift+F1 can be inverted in the Options tab, as they were opposites long ago. To copy text in a message, highlight it by holding down Shift and the arrow key, then copy by using 'Ctrl+c' like in many popular operating systems. Pasting is similar, except you would use 'Ctrl+v' to paste your already-copied text. Screenshots are a visual screen-grab of your current client window (more details on screenshots later) that are saved to a special folder within your NexusTK program folder. Screenshots may be taken by pressing 'Scroll Lock' (screenshots are often needed in Justice cases as evidence, as well as for preserving memories). An alternate way to take a screenshot is by pressing 'Ctrl+Shift+3' to save a .bmp version, or 'Ctrl+Shift+4' for a .png version. Lastly, using your computer's "Snipping Tool" can be a helpful way to capture moments on screen, but it is important to note that only official screenshots tend to be valid when being used for Justice purposes.
